How to fit your new Harness?

How to fit your new Harness?

We all love a man in a harness - it's the epitome of fetish meeting fashion.

When it comes to accessorizing with a chest harness, getting the right fit is essential for both style and comfort. Whether you're looking to add something extra to your outfit or want to show off that torso in sculpted style, knowing how to properly fit a chest harness is key. Here, we'll walk you through the steps to ensure a perfect fit every time.

Know what you want:

Harnesses come in many materials, styles, shapes and fits.  There is the typical bulldog harness which has a strap across the chest, archer harnesses which are more heavy on the back and sides, body harnesses which have straps to connect to the waist for a fuller more sculpted look, and many many more!  They also come in elasticated fabric, leather, neoprene and rubber!  Don't be daunted by the selections out there.  Stick to what you want, or be led into mischief! Colours can also be interpreted in many ways so a bit of research will ensure you're on top of your look!

Step 1: Measure Your Chest

Before you start, it's important to measure your chest to determine the right size harness for you. Use a flexible tape measure to measure around the fullest part of your chest. Make sure the tape measure is snug but not too tight. Take note of the measurement in either inches or cm. Most retailers will offer size guides, but we would always recommend trying them on as every body is different and how it lays across the shoulders and chest can alter the look completely.

Step 2: Choose the Right Size

Once you have your chest measurement, refer to the sizing chart provided by the brand or retailer. Chest harnesses typically come in small, medium, and large sizes for one-piece products, or a mix of sizes suchs as S/M and L/XL for those that can be adjusted via buckles or poppers. Select the size that best corresponds to your chest measurement for the best fit.

Step 3: Adjust the Straps

If you've gone for an elasticated or non-adjustable harness - you're good to go!

If you've gone for an adjustable harness, loosen all the straps before putting it on. Start by placing the harness over your head like a T-shirt. Adjust the straps on the sides and around the chest to achieve a snug fit. Make sure the harness sits comfortably over your shoulders ad across your chest without being too tight or too loose.  Comfort is just as important as aesthetic - especially when dancing the night away!

Step 4: Style with Confidence

Now that you have successfully fitted your harness, it's time to rock your look with confidence. Whether you're pairing it with another garment, such as an open overshirt or sheer tank top, or going as nude as possible, wearing a chest harness will definitely add a sense of fetish excitement to your ensemble.

Remember, the key is to find the right size, adjust the straps for a comfortable fit, and wear it with confidence. A great harness is only as great as the person wearing it! Embrace the look and make a bold statement wherever you go.
